A Sertoli-Leydig cell ovarian tumor refers to a particular type of stromal sex cord ovarian malignancy.
WHY IS IT PROBLEMATIC
Aside from being a malignancy, this tumor type will secrete androgens that can cause hirsutism/virilization.
