VESSEL PATHWAY
The common femoral artery is a continuation of the external illiac artery (inferior to the inguinal ligament).
Aorta → Common Iliac Artery → External Iliac Artery → Common Femoral Artery
Its terminal branches are the:
- Profunda femoris
- Superficial femoral artery
