WHAT IS IT?
Conjunctivits refers to a condition where the conjunctiva of the eye is inflamed. There can be many causes of conjunctivitis which can include:
- Viral infection (viral conjunctivitis)
- Bacterial infection (bacterial conjunctivitis)
- Allergies (allergic conjunctivitis)
- Topical medications/cosmetics (toxic conjunctivitis)
