OVERVIEW
Delusional disorder refers to a psychotic disorder characterized by fixed, persistent, and false beliefs that last longer then 1 month. A very key component of this condition is that the patient’s functioning is not impaired (unlike schizophrenia which will often land patients in jail/the hospital).

Delusions: the nature of the patients delusions are non-bizzare (they are often plausible).
