OVERVIEW
This page provides an archive for various abdominal X-rays (KUB) that were all read as “unremarkable” (i.e. normal). This page will serve as a reference point for observing remarkable/abnormal findings in patients who have pathology that can be appreciated on a KUB.
SUPINE VIEW
Almost all patients who receive a KUB will have an image taken in this view. Here are some normal studies in this view. CLICK ON THE THUMBNAILS BELOW TO OPEN UP THE ARCHIVE

A very common (and one of the preferred views) for a KUB is the upright view. Here are all examples of normal KUB obtained with this view. CLICK ON THE THUMBNAILS BELOW TO OPEN UP THE ARCHIVE
LEFT LATERAL DECUBITUS POSITION (LLDP)
The LLDP is not the preferred view (compared to the upright view), however it is taken in patients who can not stand up. Here are some normal studies in this view.
